Our Staff

Dr. George M. Olsen has been serving patients in Western Montana, since 1975, and has assembled an incredible dedicated team to serve all of your dental needs. His experienced staff has exceptional chairside manner, extensive dental knowledge, and highly evolved interpersonal skills. The staff is known to their patients for their exceptional caring attitude, both toward their dentistry and their patients. One of the ways our office demonstrates this is in the time we take to carefully get to know you as a person, listening and addressing your particular concerns and needs. This relationship-based approach to all our patients is what defines one of the most exceptional aspects of our practice.

Our team is highly trained and committed to making a difference in dentistry and in our patient’s lives. We are passionate about providing long-term care, and we love working with each other. Team members include:

Susan – Dental Assistant

Next to every great dentist stands a great dental assistant. Susan has over 24 years experience and is certified with the Dental Assisting National Board.

Susan is a graduate from Miami Dade College and Spokane Community College.

Terra – Dental Assistant

Terra has a degree in dental assisting from MSU at Great Falls College of Technology. She loves dentistry and enjoys working with a highly professional staff and in a state-of-the-art facility.

Terra lives in Missoula with her lovely daughter, Cierra. GO GRIZ!

Dee – Office Manager

Dee is our office manager and has been in the dental field for over thirty years. A true perfectionist, she loves seeing the satisfaction of our patient’s transformation through the art of dentistry. She enjoys working with people of all ages, and dentistry has provided her with that challenge.

Dee is from Missoula and is a graduate of Missoula County High School. She and her husband live east of Florence and they have a daughter and a granddaughter.

Willy – Front Office

When calling Smile Missoula, Willy will be the friendly voice on the other end. With over thirty years in the dental field, Willy is a graduate from the Dental Assisting program at Lake Area Technical Institute, Watertown, SD. She truly loves working in dentistry.

Willy and her husband live in Missoula, and have two children and on grandchild.

Faye – Business Manager

Faye is our business manager and the wife of Dr. Olsen. They love working together and have created an environment that is professional, friendly, and caring to their patients.

“I like seeing the positive result of great dentistry. Mostly, I enjoy interaction with our patients and staff.  We have the best of both in all of Missoula!” -Faye

Faye has her BA from the University of Missouri and MA from the University of Montana, and is a former English teacher and real estate broker. She has been in the dental field since 1984 and has lived in Missoula since the mid-70’s. She and George enjoy activities with their large extended family.

Kris – Hygienist

Kris has been Dr. Olsen’s dental hygienist since 2006. Kris not only likes teeth and nice smiles, she likes things clean! So, her job suits her well.

“I like working for a dentist who does great, quality work that will last and also one who has an eye for aesthetics.” -Kris

Kris received her Dental Hygiene degree from Allegany College of Maryland in 2001. She was born and raised in Montana and now lives in Missoula with her husband and 4 daughters.

Donna – Hygienist

Donna is a people person and has been a dental hygienist for over thirty years. She loves the opportunity to help people and to learn something about them. She learns something every day.

“I have learned so much while working for Dr. Olsen.  He has such an eye for detail and he is such an artist. I appreciate being around someone who is such a perfectionist.  That is what I want in an employer, and a dentist.”-Donna

Originally from Ohio, she and her husband moved to Florence, with their dogs, in 2000. They love Western Montana; it’s the most beautiful place they have ever lived.

Tina – Hygienist

Tina has a warm, outgoing personality and makes everyone fee comfortable. She is a creative person and has her own line of handcrafted jewelry.

“I enjoy dentistry because it provides me with an opportunity to help and educate others on the importance of dental health and hygiene. I enjoy working for George because he is a very thorough and appreciative of his staff. There are very few people I would trust with my smile and George is one of the select few. His attention to detail is very impressive.”-Tina

Morgan – Office Assistant

I like working here because everyone is nice and friendly.  I am a student at Sentinel High School and am grateful to have a job here.  One of my favorite hobbies is singing in choir
